This event brings together national, regional, and Vermont stakeholders to facilitate collaborations and strengthen suicide prevention. Each workshop presentation during the Symposium will run for one hour and include an additional 15-minute segment for question and answer at the end, for a total time of one hour and 15 minutes per workshop. We welcome all proposals on suicide prevention topics.
The proposal deadline is June 12, 2023.
All presenters chosen will be eligible to receive compensation.
The Symposium benefits anyone with an interest in learning more about current and forthcoming resources, best practices, and ongoing conversations surrounding suicide and self-harm prevention. This includes and is not limited to those with lived experience, advocates, professionals working within education, healthcare, social services, substance misuse programming, mental health services, workforce development, youth and family engagement, and anyone who wants to get involved in this important work.
