Alison Krompf, MA (she/her)

Alison received her BA in Psychology from Colgate University, a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University and is currently pursuing her PhD in Organizational Leadership and Policy Studies at the University of Vermont.

She became invested in suicide prevention during her early career as a crisis clinician, helping people through some of their most difficult times of mental health crisis. It was in this role she learned that human to human connection at the right time can make an incredible difference for a person considering suicide.

Alison has since moved away from direct service to effect change at the state level with the Department of Mental Health in Vermont, where she is the Deputy Commissioner.

Special interests include payment reform and value-based systems, suicide prevention, resiliency and strengths building, and assessment and evaluation at the individual, program and system level.
