This workshop promotes understanding of the complex impact of suicide by examining the experience of loss survivors and first responders in the moments after a suicide, illustrating the healing power of joining forces in a trauma informed approach. Join Elaine as she examines experiences in the aftermath of suicide, to include perspectives of loss survivors and first responders.
Understanding the emotional and physical impact the journey has on both highlights the crucial need to support all who are involved in these tragic experiences. These perspectives, guided by loss survivors, have led to specialized training and trauma-informed protocols for first responders that have benefited all involved in the moments after a suicide occurs.
